Welcome Back

30th Aug 2022

We can’t wait to welcome our children back to school on Thursday 1st September.  We hope the children are relaxed, recharged and ready to start the new school year.  Teachers and assistants have been back a few days making sure everything is ready for the children’s return.

New Nursery and P1 children have their times for their induction, if you need a reminder of these please contact the office.

Each year brings change, this year we welcome Miss Devine to Primary 2 to replace Mrs J Kelly who has been seconded by the Education Authority to work in their Early Years Team, until at least 31st March 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity and we would like to wish Mrs Kelly all the best in her new post.

We have a new face in Primary 5, Miss Dunn will replace Mrs McKeever while she is on sick leave.

Breakfast Club will begin on Thursday 1st from 8.10am and Busy Bees will operate for Year 2 children from Thursday 1st.

After Schools Care will start on Monday 5th September from 3pm to 5.30pm. September After Schools Booking

Please keep in mind that the road will be busy in the mornings, please show consideration to other road users and to our neighbours.  Please try to avoid turning in the road, turn at either Ardmore or the Forge Road.

The school bus will operate from Thursday 1st, please ensure that bus pass is topped up.

Please ensure that your contact information is up to date, most home school communication will be via text messages and the school website.  More information on home school communication will follow shortly.

We’re really looking forward to welcoming the children back to school on Thursday and we’re looking forward to working with our families again to make sure that the 2022-23 school year is a success.

God bless.
