Last week we read a poem by Berlie Doherty called, 'I Love Our Orange Tent'.
When we looked closely at each verse, we found that the poet had used lots of devices to make her poem stand out! We found interesting adjectives (describing the poet's senses) and we also found similes and a metaphor!
We used 'I Love my Orange Tent' as inspiration to write a poem about something WE love!
