Unfortunately we are unable to open the school tomorrow (Thursday 6th). Our heating hasn't worked this week and the school is extremely cold - each class is currently in single figures. It's not a safe learning environment for children or staff. We have raised this issue with maintenance and are currently waiting an engineer to visit. The earliest time they can visit is tomorrow - this issue was raised with the Education Authority on Tuesday.
I apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause, hopefully the situation will be resolved for Friday, I will keep you updated.
