This past week has seen an alarming rise in the number of cases in our local area. These cases have had a direct impact on our school, with our Nursery having to close tomorrow pending further advice from PHA.
When dropping off and collecting at school please remember to follow social distancing and I’d urge all adults to wear a mask on school property. Remember only one adult should drop off and collect children from school.
Please see the attached guidelines, if in doubt err on the side of caution. If you feel you may have been in contact with someone who may be positive please isolate straight away and don’t wait for official guidance.
It is vital that you contact school immediately if a member of your household has tested positive.
Please remind children who travel by bus that they must be seated in either class or family bubbles, in the current climate it would be advisable for children on the bus to wear a mask.
With everyone following the guidelines and by being cautious in our interactions we can help our community through this. We keep everyone from our local area and beyond impacted by Covid in our thoughts and prayers and we hope they get back to full health as soon as possible.
