Today, we used our hands to scoop out the seeds from inside our pumpkin. We then cut out some of the inside and chopped it up. We chopped up some potatoes, leeks and carrots too and added them together to make pumpkin soup. We enjoyed feeling the textures and smelling the different vegetables. It was so messy and lots of fun! Afterwards, we cooked the soup, blended it and some of us even tasted it. It was delicious!
We then helped Miss Lynch carve a face into the pumpkin and we named him 'Jack Jack'.
