After a few years awaiting funding and approval, the Nursery Outdoor area will shortly undergo improvement works. The canopy which provides shelter will be extended out to cover the entire upper area, doubling the total usable area for the pupils to access outdoor learning activities in all weathers.
Once the canopy is erected the grounds team will provide new surfacing and planting to create a more natural and exploratory space for the children.
When the Nursery area is complete the school hopes to upgrade the courtyard area to provide further opportunities for Outdoor play for the Foundation Stage children.
