We were delighted today to see our new sensory room getting installed, thanks to a grant from Awards For All.
This is the first part of an improvement in sensory provision for the school with further projects planned for the Nursery. This now provides a “safe” space place for individuals with sensory issues to decompress and confront a variety of sensory issues in a way that will ultimately help them learn to cope with seemingly normal experiences.
This also provides a "chill out" space for those children who just need a few minutes to regulate their emotions and get ready to learn again.
We're so happy to see this project come to fruition and to keep providing the best that we can for all our children.
