Today was our first World Book Day at Glendermott! We dressed up in our costumes and got to tell our friends about the character we dressed up as. We painted our characters today as well. We went to the book sale and spent lots of money on new books for mammys and daddys to read to us. Then, we listened to the story of the Gruffalo and made some Gruffalo Crumble with Mary. We used chocolate cupcakes, jelly, fruit, cream, custard, biscuits and sprinkles. We had great fun making these and using the different ingredients but no one would share with Miss Lynch, Mrs Parke or Leigh!
