The last day of term is usually a happy, bustling day here in Glendermott with everyone excited about their summer break instead it's a quiet place. Hopefully that will all change in late August.
Thank you to all the teachers who have adapted their way of working over this last few months and to all the support staff who have continued to work away in the background ensuring school runs smoothly.
Thank you to all the parents and guardians who have taken on the teacher role at home and ensured that you and your family stayed safe and healthy.
I will be in contact in mid August with our reopening plans, children will return to school in groups on the last few days of August for a sort time to introduce the new routines that will be in place for September- keep an eye out for text messages in early August! Primary 7 will be due to return on 24th August- again more details will follow.
Uniform suppliers remain as normal for next year.
It was lovely to see all the images of the children working so well during lockdown. I've made 2 short videos of Sports Day and Bake Off!
Please remember that while we are gradually coming out of lockdown it's still important to be cautious particularly if you intend to travel.
