We finally made it to February! Thank you so much for all your hard work last month, getting our remote learning up and running. Our topic this month is People Who Help Us. Our learning will include:
- Learning about different jobs and their roles
- Taking on the roles of different people e.g. fireperson, vet, doctor etc.
- Talking about their experience with the people who help us
- Listening to stories and learning songs
- Starting to recognise what our name looks like
Out of all the people who help us, this week we focused in on..... Vets! We learned all about their great work and how much they help not just our pets, but wild animals too. Then we set up our own vet clinics. Look at how we helped our poor patients get better! We first filled in a form, describing what animals the patients were, and how they were feeling. We used stethoscopes, plasters and bandages to cure them. Of course, our excellent patients deserved a sticker for being brave. A few of use made some AMAZING birdfeeders, so we can help the wee birds keep well-fed when the ground is still cold and hard. We also went on a pink colour - hunt and investigated our new home learning packs. As well as our new colour of the month being pink, our shape of the month is the heart! Well done everyone!
