Today was Pancake Tuesday so we got to make homemade pancakes to eat for our snack. We helped Miss Lynch make the pancake batter by adding our ingredients and mixing them together. We used 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of milk and an egg. Miss Lynch then poured the batter into the frying pan to make yummy pancakes. Mrs Parke then helped us decide what we wanted on our pancakes, some of us had butter and jam, some of us took syrup and sugar and some of us had a bit of everything! After story time, we took some spare (burnt) pancakes outside in the frying pans and we all took turns flipping them up in the air and catching them!
