Friends of Glendermott Easter Draw
Many thanks to the Friends of Glendermott for organising our Easter Draw. The Easter Hampers look fantastic. We have decided this year that we should donate half the money raised to the people of Turkey and Syria as they struggle to recover from the impact of the terrible earthquake. Each draw sheet has 20 lines people can enter as few or as many times as they wish. As usual your generosity is greatly appreciated. Please return all entries by Monday 3rd April and the draw will take place on Wednesday 5th April.
Name the Bunny
P7s will be visiting the classes over the next few days for children to guess the name of the Easter Bunny. There are 120 names to choose from- each guess costs £1. The name is secured safely in the school safe and the winner will be announced on Wednesday 5th April.
Art Competition
On Monday 27th March children will receive a blank easter egg template. Each child can decorate their own design, there will be a prize for each class, and winners for different categories: Religious; Humourous; a scene from History. This may be done in class or at home.
School Council Easter Disco
On the afternoon of Wednesday 5th April the School Council have organised an Easter Disco for the children. P1 & 2 from 1pm to 1.45pm and for the rest of the school from 2pm to 2.45pm.
Easter Holidays
School will finish at 12.00 noon on Holy Thursday, children can be collected from the hall. There will be no bus on Thursday. No uniform today, suggested £2 donation for Trocaire.
