Christmas Shoebox appeal
The school would like to ask for your help. This year we are supporting “Road of Hope” in our shoe box appeal. This programme, run by the charity Road of Hope, sends gift filled shoe boxes to disadvantaged children around the world. This programme helps our community to show care and concern for less fortunate children. These children may be affected by war, poverty, famine, disease or natural disasters. Moreover, it gives our children the opportunity to reflect upon and empathise with others. These parcels are distributed to various localities throughout the world.
If your family would like to make their own box, you should fill it with appropriate items for a boy or girl as outlined in the leaflet. If you can’t make a shoebox, we would appreciate any donations from the list so our PTA can make up some boxes in school. All shoeboxes, or donated items for shoeboxes, should be in school by Wednesday 16th November.
Please ensure that all of the items included are new or look new. Please include £2.00 in box for postage and packaging
Many thanks for your support of this very worthy cause.
