Another successful day at the Small Schools' Football Blitz as our Primary 7 boys are crowned Cup champions!
After a tense semi-final draw with Our Lady of Fatima, it was another penalty shoot out decider for Glendermott. A final save from Ronan secured the boys' place in the Cup Final.
An early lead from Faughanvale saw Glendermott 2-0 down, but they dug deep for a spirited comeback. The hard work from Caoimhin, Niall, Zach and David throughout the match showed determination from the boys not to give up.
Goals from Daimhín and Ethan brought the game back to a draw, with Daimhín popping in a last minute winner for Glendermott to take the cup!
