The nursery children have been learning all about the cold, frosty, winter weather. They made snowflakes, designed their own snowmen, learned songs about snow, and read books about hibernating animals. The children had great fun making bird feeders in forest school by mixing seeds and nuts with peanut butter and lard and scooping the mixture into orange peels which they hung the trees for the birds.
